Been coming here for over a decade. It's the BEST fish restaurant in Destin. Looks super sketchy when you turn in. You'll pass a dumpster where a literal gang of grey heron stand motionless like piranha. They are harmless, keep moving. You'll see a large gravel parking lot that will probably be full. Park anyway. You'll order with the friendly and very fish knowledgeable staff, then walk out to picnic tables on the pier. They'll call your name and bring your meal to you. You'll see lots of birds perched on the docks, waiting for you to drop food. Do not drop any food. Fried baskets come with hush puppies and fries, grilled baskets come with red potatoes with melted butter for dipping and corn on the cob. There's a catch of the day, so you'll have several opportunities to try new fish if you're staying in Destin several days. The servers are very friendly and the food is fresh! 10/10 every single time.

Dewey Destin's Seafood Restaurant is exceptional! My wife and I celebrated our 26th Wedding Anniversary by going Charter fishing and the Captain recommended we bring a few pounds of our catch to Dewey where they would cook our catch for us, and provide us 2 sides for an amazing price! All I can say is that we were overwhelmed by amazing service from the Hostess to our Servers. We provided the hostess with our 3.5 lbs of fish and our Server gave us different ways they could cook our fish - we chose pan-seared, fried and grilled (bronzed) and everything was cooked to perfection and tasted amazing (See my 30-second Video below - turn the volume up)! Afterwards, we walked our lunch off at the Harborwalk Marina (easy access from Dewey's) and made more memories. 100% Recommend!

We met a couple from Ohio that raved about this place, so we decided to give it a try. Dewey’s did not disappoint! The royal red shrimp were so delicious and fresh. We also had the fresh catch of day, swordfish. The fish was so delectable. Just perfect! Glad we got there early because the line was definitely long when we left. We ate right outside on the dock overlooking Crab Island. Would highly recommend and we will be back!! Another big plus, the location is available to get to by water and dock at the restaurant!

Dewey Destin’s is hands down the best place in town for hook and cook! We brought in our morning catch and they got to work right away—no wait at all. We tried both grilled and fried, and while both were great, the grilled was the unanimous favorite—cooked to perfection! The sides were just as impressive, with seasoned potatoes, sweet corn, and some of the best hush puppies we’ve ever had. The whole experience was made even better by the setting—seating right over the water with amazing views of Crab Island. Great food, unbeatable location, and quick, friendly service. This is a must-do in Destin!

Dewey Destin’s is a must when you’re in Destin! The food is always fresh, the staff is kind, and the atmosphere is exactly what you want by the water. Simple, delicious, and consistently great. One of our favorite spots!

Very good seafood. My only problem is I have gotten away from fried foods for health reasons and never thought to ask if I could get it blackened or broiled. The coleslaw was just my style, sweet and creamy and very fresh. All the food was cooked to perfection. The waitress was very friendly and helpful to the whole party of 11. I will definitely be back but we’ll try my meal blackened or grilled or broiled.

Incredible experience! Delicious food- we got smoked tuna and captains platter! The surroundings are gorgeous, the staff is positive, and the prices are fair. 10/10 recommend.

This is such a fun place right on the bay. Great menu with choices for all. Fresh seafood. Service was great, helpful and kind. Counter service and then table delivery. We sat outside and enjoyed our lunch with great views. Our meals were fantastic.
